The Seattle H Scene is a social group formed for people in Western Washington living with Herpes or HPV. Our mission is to provide a confidential, relaxed and fun environment where you can socialize with others who share this common factor. As of early 2007, we have over 650 members. Though the group is largely made up of singles, this is not a dating service. It is a social group first and foremost that anyone is welcome to participate in regardless of their relationship status. Valuable friendships can be made, and yes, romantic connections have been known to take place. It is comforting to be among others who understand the challenges of living with HSV or HPV, so we welcome you to join in our events! Monthly gatherings are held in the greater Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area and vary widely. Most common are probably such things as dinner and dancing, month end brunch, movie night, etc. Nice weather lends itself to more outdoor activities as well. Members are welcome to suggest and even host events so that we can maintain a bit of variety. We encourage you to come on out to meet new people, make new friends or visit with those you already know. First timers are always welcome – we’ve all been there! See you out and about... |
